2. Generate your Cliniko API key

In your Cliniko account, go to My Info → Manage API Keys and create a new key. This allows Emma to securely access your availability and booking data. Your data stays safe. The API key gives Emma read and write access only to the scheduling and patient data needed to handle calls. You can revoke access at any time from your Cliniko dashboard.

3. Share your key with us

Send your API key securely to our team during onboarding. We'll configure Emma to work with your specific clinic setup, including your locations, practitioners, appointment types, and business hours. This step typically takes few business days.

4. Go live

Once configured, Emma starts answering calls for your clinic 24/7. She'll check real-time availability in Cliniko, book appointments, and handle new and returning patients, just like a human receptionist.

How long does setup take?
