What happens if I exceed my included minutes?
You receive an alert at 80% of your included minutes. Any excess is billed at the Effective Per-Minute Rate (your Monthly Plan Fee ÷ Included Minutes). Alternatively, purchase Add-On Bundles at any time — unused Add-On Minutes roll over one billing cycle then expire automatically.
What is the contract length and renewal policy?
The initial term is 12 months from your Service Start Date, after which it auto-renews for successive 12-month periods. Either party may stop renewal by giving 60 days' written notice before the end of the current term.
Can I cancel or terminate early?
You may not terminate for convenience during the term. Early termination requires payment of all Monthly Plan Fees for the remaining months of the current term, plus any accrued unpaid charges.
What are my billing options?
Monthly billing, or Annual Upfront — get 20% discount on yearly bill. EU clients pay in EUR; US clients pay in USD.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Both upgrades and downgrades take effect at the start of your next Billing Cycle. No proration applies unless required by law or expressly stated by FoodVision23.
Is there a setup fee?
Setup fees are variable and depend on scope: number of locations, languages enabled, integration complexity, routing schedules, and knowledge base depth. Your exact Setup Fee is confirmed in the Order Form before you sign.
How do integrations with OpenTable, Cloudbeds or Mews work?
Emma captures reservation intent and routes it via API/webhook to your platform through a Make automation. Configured during onboarding — availability depends on the platform's API and your plan level.
What if Emma can't answer or needs to escalate?
Emma transfers the call to your team in real-time, with full call context provided. During onboarding you configure escalation contacts, routing schedules, and custom FAQs so Emma handles the vast majority of enquiries autonomously.
Is my data protected? GDPR / CCPA compliant?
